Moulded Plywood

Very thin layers of wood are bent and formed into a shape under the application of heat and pressure in moulding presses. The shapes are held in place by a frame. Mostly, peeled beech veneers are used for this process.

Individually designed shaped wood pieces can be produced in small quantities as well as in large series, ready for assembly. Best known field of applications of this product is the production of seating furniture, with shaped seats and moulded backs, designed to fulfil ergonomic requirements as well as aesthetical desires.
